The Sony Alpha SLT-A65 is a entry level mid-range DSLR. When we open the Sony Alpha SLT-A65, we can see the battery bay, home to the li-ion battery. Actually this is not a new battery. The battery code is NP-FM500H which can be used in many Sony DSLRs.
Interestingly, Sony claims slightly better battery life from this battery in the A65 compared to the A77 - 510 shots with the EVF, and 560 with the LCD (CIPA standard).
