Unfortunately some customers complaints HTC EVO 4G consume too much power. Here are tips to extend your HTC EVO 4G battery life.
- Get rid of the large HTC widgets like bookmarks and FriendStream
- Turn off widget animation
- Use a static background rather than a live background
- Turn off auto brightness, set screen backlight at 10%
- Decrease screen timeout from 1min to 15 seconds
- Keep WiFi, GPS, 4G off until it's needed
- Eliminate irrelevant apps (Using Advanced Task Killer should make this easier)
- Tweak the CPU settings
- Switch from GSM to CDMA

Hope can prove more battery life for my Evo
Durability and battery life are my only worry, the other specs are better than a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and cheaper too. If you have another good suggestion for a 7-8 inch tab please say so. (Any suggestions of Apple devices will be ignored.) batteriser
