Samsung NX10 is officially launched. The NX10 is a different sized camera from others as it's larger than a Micro Four Thirds camera but smaller than a regular DSLR camera.It is equiped with a 14.6-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS sensor, a DSLR-style body, an eye-level VGA resolution electronic viewfinder, a large 3.0-inch AMOLED screen, an HDMI port The NX10 is capable of capturing video at 30 frames per second at a 720p HD resolution.
The Samsung NX10 will start shipping in Spring 2010. In the shipping package it will includes:
- Samsung NX10 Camera body
- BP1310 Lithium-Ion battery pack
- BC1310 battery charger
- AC cable for charger
- USB connection cable
- Software CD (Samsung Master, Samsung RAW Converter, QuickTime Player 7.6)
- Strap
- Body cap, Eye cup, Hot-shoe cover
- Manuals
It is expected that Samsung will offer kits with both 30mm and 18-55mm lenses (as well as multi-lens)
The NX10 uses a new 1300mAh 74V (9.6Wh) Li-Ion battery(battery code BP1310) that locks snugly into place in the battery compartment in the grip of the camera. The battery is charged in the supplied BC1310. We don't have any information at the moment on battery life, but on our pre-production sample it seemed excellent.
