On March 24, the World Natural Heritage Site and National 5A Tourist Scenic Spot-Langshan Scenic Area released agood news: Residents in Wuhan and Huanggang City can visit Langshan Mountain free of charge by theirresident ID cards from the end of the epidemic until December 31, 2021. While the students from Huanggangmiddle schools can visit free of charge by their student ID until December 31, 2022. This unlimited times free tourpackage is confined to Langshan B line which includes the four major scenic spots: Bajiao Strongholds, TianyiLane, Chili Peak and Zixia Cave. This is another major preferential policy introduced by Langshan Scenic Area afterthe similar free tour package was offered to licensed medical workers from around the country in earlier time.
The relevant persons in charge of Langshan Scenic Area said that during the new coronavirus epidemic, ShaoyangCity supported Wuhan and Huanggang counterparts and forged a deep friendship. Residents of the two cities arenot only the victims of the severely affected areas, but also the front-line combatants. Therefore, the LanshanScenic Area has specifically issued a policy to invite residents of Wuhan and Huanggang city to visit Shaoyang andvisit Langshan Mountain after the epidemic.
Located in Xinning County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, Langshan Scenic Area covers a total area of 128 squarekilometers and has six major scenic spots including Tianyi Lane, Chili Peak, Bajiao Strongholds, Fuyi River, ZixiaCave, and Natural Bridge (not open to the public yet). Langshan Mountain is known as "the soul of Danxia, thetreasure of the country".It is a good place for sightseeing, leisure vacation, rock climbing adventure and scientificresearch.
