Panasonic released AG-3DA1 Full HD 3D camcorder

Panasonic released its new camcorder AG-3DA1 which is touted as the world's first professional quality fully intergrated Full HD 3D camcorder offering SD media card recording. At less than 6.6 pounds, the Panasonic AG-3DA1 is equipped with dual lenses and two full 1920 x 1080 2.07 megapixel 3-MOS imagers to record 1080/60i, 50i, 30p, 25p and 24p (native) and 720/60p and 50p in AVCHD. It can record for up to 180 minutes on dual 32GB SD cards in Panasonic's professional AVCHD PH mode, and offers professional interfaces including dual HD-SDI out, HDMI (version 1.4), two XLR connectors, built-in stereo microphone and twin-lens camera remotes.

Red One camera battery VS Sony V-Lock battery

Since its release in year 2006 Red camera has received wide popularity from all over the world. We received a lot of inquiries for Red One camera batteries. Now Sunpow launched replacement battery which is able to communicate their status with the RED One camera. Then what's difference between Red One camera battery and Sony V-Lock battery? Here we detail it.

1. From appearance Red One battery looks quite similar to Sony V-Lock battery. But if you looks at them carefully then you will note subtle difference. The Sony V-Lock battery normally has eight contacts(Six on side, two on top), the Red One battery has only five contacts. Plese see below pictures for details.








2. Besides the subtle appreance difference, the Red One camera battery has a difference circuit board design from that of Sony V-Lock battery. Its wiring is also total different, which results in contacts layout.

3. Even though you changed V-Lock battery's circuit board same as Red One camera battery, it also can't communicate with Red One camera's viewfinder. Because Red One camera has a special chip inside. So the battery has to be equiped with this chip code. Without this chip you can't see battery's status from viewfinder. Fortunately Sunpow already decode this chip to make its battery completely compatible with Red One camera and its viewfinder. Sony PMW-320 camcorder battery BP-GL95

After the release of PMW-EX1r and PMW-350 last year Son has announced a new member from its Sony EX series at NAB. Known as the PMW-320, the camcorder features three Exmor Full HD 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensor, and is studio-configurable, with timecode in/out, genlock in, and HD-SDI and HDMI out. In addition, the PMW-320 also supports DVCAM recording and playback. The Sony PMW-320 is priced at $12,800 (without the lens), or $14,800 (with the lens).

Apple iPad battery 616-0447

Apple's tablet iPad was launched finally last Saturday. As the medias reported thousands of iPad's fans lined up to buy it.  Now we finally have a chance to look at its battery. The iPad use a rechargeable li-polymer battery. Rated at 24.8Wh(3.75V) the iPad battery can provides the juice for an advertised 10 hours of use. In contrast, the iPhone 3GS has a 4.51 watt-hour battery and the MacBook Air has a 40 watt-hour battery. The iPad's battery seems to integrate two separate 3.75V lithium polymer cells wired in parallel for such ample battery life.

The iPad's battery need a special power supply to charge it. The USB power supply had to be enhanced specifically for the iPad. It's a 10W unit manufactured by Foxlink Technology, Ltd.,  the power supply part numbers are A1357, W010A051.

Samsung NX10 DSLR battery BP1310

Samsung NX10 is  officially launched. The NX10 is a different sized camera from others as it's larger than a Micro Four Thirds camera but smaller than a regular DSLR camera.It is equiped with a 14.6-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS sensor, a DSLR-style body, an eye-level VGA resolution electronic viewfinder, a large 3.0-inch AMOLED screen, an HDMI port The NX10  is capable of capturing video at 30 frames per second at a 720p HD resolution.

The NX10 uses a new 1300mAh 74V (9.6Wh) Li-Ion battery(battery code BP1310) that locks snugly into place in the battery compartment in the grip of the camera. The battery is charged in the supplied BC1310. We don't have any information at the moment on battery life, but on our pre-production sample it seemed excellent.

Samsung does not create a new battery for this new camera. Instead the CL80 use an old battery coded SLB-11A. Besides Samsung CL80, the SLB-11A can be used for many other cameras also.
